Position Summary: The primary role of the Area Sales Manager (ASM) is to consistently develop the market by signing new dealers, increasing application volume, contract growth and providing best-in-class service to new and existing dealer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Build and develop a new market in the franchise and independent auto lending space, focusing on quality and high-volume contract production
  • Market Research: Utilize provided tools for targeted engagement with independent and franchise dealers, facilitating their onboarding with Car Capital
  • Technology and Data Utilization: Leverage data and technology to enhance dealer value through digital platforms
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with team members, thinking creatively to solve problems and optimize processes
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness and adherence to regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the auto finance industry
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure superior dealer experience through professionalism and quality customer service

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years in auto financial services, indirect auto lending and/or dealer finance
    • Proven track record of business development in automotive dealerships
    • Strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
    • Established dealership relationships within assigned market
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook and Excel)
    • Familiarity with CRM systems
    • Strong analytical skills; adept at using data for informed decision-making
    • Knowledge of fintech products, technologies and trends in the auto sector
    • Experience with agile product development and cross-functional team collaboration
